Growth Groups

Worship is an outpouring of response from our hearts to the things God has done in our lives, recognizing that He is all-powerful, longing to draw near to Him, and He to us. One way we respond in worship is through music. Our desire is to first and foremost worship the Lord through our daily lives, and to lead others to this place of response to the presence of God through song. The way we have chosen to express these songs is through a Scriptural, yet modern approach of guitars, piano, drums, strings and other various instruments. This is reflected in Psalm 150:

Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD. [a]
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.

Through the praying and speaking of ancient texts, relevant preaching, and the modern sound of worship music, our hope is that you would feel the nearness of God, and in turn have a yearning to praise and know Him on the deepest level.

Blessings,

Thiago Oliveira was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His parent's passion for medicine and missions caused the family to move throughout South, Central and North America. His mother always saw a musical potential in Thiago and so she encouraged him to take a variety of instruments ranging from classical guitar, piano, drums and trumpet lessons. Music became, in many ways, an expressive outlet and a way to have a deeper spiritual connection. Because of the constant relocations his family had to do, Thiago and his two siblings got to experience a variety of cultures and languages. They learned Spanish, Portuguese and English and with that an interesting recollection of different national anthems. Thiago and his family now live in Dallas, Texas, he is the oldest of the two siblings and many still debate he is the better looking of them all. He is currently a child psychologist in a school district and is working on his doctorate degree.
