The Reverend Bob Johnston

The Rev. Bob Johnston is priest-in-charge of the Uptown ministry at Church of the Incarnation where he has been on staff since 2004. As a bi-vocational priest, he also works as a patent attorney in downtown Dallas. He has a mechanical engineering degree from Baylor University and graduate degrees in law, business, and theology from Southern Methodist University. He is married to Robin and has twin sons.

Justin Brooks

Justin is the worship music leader for Uptown. He is responsible for planning the worship music for each service, and leads the worship team on Sunday morning. He is also the lead guitarist for the group "The Epic Press", a local favorite! Justin is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. He and his wife, Tiffany, are the proud parents of beautiful baby Taylor! They have been at Uptown since January 2006.

Tiffany Brooks

Tiffany is the administrative assistant for Uptown. She not only provides administrative support for the ministry, but also adds a touch of artistic creativity. Tiffany is a vocalist in the Uptown band, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Dallas Baptist University. She is Justin Brooks' wife and mother to thier beautiful baby, Taylor.

Nicole joined Uptown two years ago with her husband, Marko. She works at Uptown as Fr. Bob's assistant helping him focus on leading the Uptown ministry. She also works at Incarnation in the Outreach Department. She volunteers as co-leader of the Newcomer Ministry with Buddy Apple, facilitates the Marriage Course and also helps with various other ministries. In addition to all of this, she runs her own jewelry business. Nicole grew up in the Texas Hill Country, went to Texas A&M and moved to Dallas in 2004. She enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and travelling.

Kathy Boyett

Kathy is a lawyer with her Masters in Tax, currently doing tax and estate planning for New York Life. She and her husband David came to Incarnation in 1980 and both have served in various leadership positions. They have been married for 28 years and they have two children, Claire (26) and Andrew (23). They both currently serve in Uptown Leadership positions.

David Boyett came to Incarnation in 1980 and has served in various roles of church leadership. He is currently serves on the Vestry and the Uptown Leadership Board. He has been married to Kathy for 28 years and they have two children, Claire (26) and Andrew (23). David has a business consulting company, Boyett Management Services and he serves as a Dallas Group Chair for Vistage International. He currently has two CEO groups and one key executive group that he facilitates.

I am a native of Dallas, and am a Marketing/PR representative for a local Jewelry designer. I have been a member of Incarnation since 2004 and have been a regular member of the Uptown congregation since its inception. I'm fortunate to have been on several Adult Mission trips with Incarnation and am involved in other Outreach programs as well. My passion is to be of service to God and those around me.

Steven Hall

Tenor & Graphic Designer Steven Hall was born in the Panama Canal Zone, and has since called various portions of both Europe and the United States home. He has performed abroad in Europe and the former Soviet Republic of States, and now sings with the Dallas Opera. Steven has, most recently, sung the roles of "Spoletta" in Puccini's TOSCA and "4th Jew" in SALOME, both with The Dallas Opera. He currently sits on the National Board of Governors for AGMA. An avid fan of travel, he departed last April for Nepal to trek to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest, and is contemplating a climb of Kilimanjaro next summer. As a Graphic Artist / Web Designer, he works with Dallas Summer Musicals, The Majestic Theatre, and the Music Hall at Fair Park. He enjoys being amidst the "buzz" of a large group of people, and relishes the opportunity to be a part of the music ministry here at Uptown. He says, "Music reaches deeply into the hearts of everyone. It is my hope that the music we perform and worship with will help bring people closer to the cross--to help lower obstacles that might hinder people from entering in to true worship." Steven is a graduate of both Dallas Baptist University with a B.A. in vocal performance, & Moody Bible Institute with a B.A. in Theology & Greek.

Tom McCause

Thomas McCause is a first grade teacher in Richardson ISD. He came to teaching after spending a couple of years in Honduras with the Peace Corps. Thomas enjoys traveling, drinking great coffee with friends, sharing community, and singing along with the radio. He is excited to be the coordinator for evangelism for Uptown @ Incarnation and looks forward to chatting with about evangelism, coffee, or anything else.

Janet Page

Janet is a vocalist for the Uptown band, a leader of the Page-Moore Growth Group, and for Church of the Incarnation serves as a chalice bearer, an Altar Guild member, and an officer of our Daughters of the King chapter. For her “real job” she is an assistant principal at John Horn High School in the Mesquite ISD. She has a BA in History from UT Dallas, an MS in Educational Administration from A&M Commerce, and is in her fourth year of theological studies at the Stanton Center for Ministry Formation. Janet is passionate about the ministry opportunities at our church that allow her to serve at the Lord’s Table, sing His praises, or help those among us who are hurting.

David heads up Uptown Pastoral Care and is also a member of the Church of the Incarnation Vestry and the Uptown Board. An Englishman by birth, and an attorney by profession, David has been living in the United States for eight years but still has that lovely accent (though he's taken care of the bad dental work). Passionate about ministry, he takes very seriously his responsibilities of church leadership and pastoral care. He says, "I have a vision of Uptown as place known for its culture of pastoral care, where each member and congregant takes ownership for the well-being of those around them in a spirit of love and Christian fellowship." He also treasures the effortless way Uptown blends the traditional elements of the liturgy with contemporary music and relevant preaching, creating a worship service that is both timeless and current, and a vibrant and growing community of faith. In his spare time, David is fond of live music, traveling, Dallas Stars Hockey and tennis. As a member of the Vestry, David is a useful point of contact for information on the wider church. Marko has been at Uptown for over two years, as a result of attending the Alpha course. A native of Mexico, he has lived in Texas most of his life. Marko is a programmer by trade, spending a lot of time in front of a computer trying to make sense of technology! His and his wife, Nicole, have been in Dallas for a little over 3 years and live in the White Rock Lake area.

Mariah is the Volunteer Coordinator, Assimilation Department Leader, and on the Uptown Board. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and is currently the Cardiothoracic Transplant Coordinator at Baylor Downtown. She loves traveling, reading, and shopping, but especially enjoys times out with friends. Jennifer is an attorney practicing commercial litigation. She goes with Jake, and has a dog named Ella! Jen & Jake found Uptown in January 2005 and soon committed to making it their church home. She says, "We love it here, and we love our friends here. I am so excited to be a part of Growth Groups. My life has been changed by God using a community of friends in my life to help me learn holiness and grace, and I want to be a part of that for other people, too!"

Jake Trousdale is a Vice President at JPMorgan Private Bank. In his role as Global Investment Specialist, Jake is responsible for delivering investment and portfolio strategies that are tailored to meet the needs of individual clients. Jake is a CFA charterholder, and he serves on the Investment Advisory Committee to the Phil M. Dorr Alumni and Friends Endowed Investment Fund at Baylor University. Jake earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Baylor University. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Jennifer.

Andrew Woodall

Andrew is the husband of Misty and father of Fallon. Born in Coventry, England, Andrew has been a Dallas resident since 1999. He is a member of Uptown and a leader of the Alpha course. He also is a self-described sports freak. That being the Stars, Mavs and Cowboys, but he doesn’t forsake his first two true loves: rugby and English football. When sports or anything resembling such is on TV, Andrew admits to being addicted. In his daily life, Andrew is employed by Facility Interiors, Inc., where he is a department head overseeing warehouse operations of the company’s U.S. locations.
